Article 12: You have the right to be listened to and taken seriously.

Mae Llais y Plentyn yn rhoi lle canolig i safbwyntiau, dymuniadau a theimladau ein dysgwyr yn y broses o gynllunio ar gyfer eu cwricwlwm.  Mae Llais y Disgybl yn annog plant i ddod yn gyfranogwyr gweithredol mewn cymdeithas ddemocrataidd.  Mae'n cyfrannu at gyflawniad a chyrhaeddiad - mae disgyblion sy'n ymwneud â gwaith cyfranogol yn elwa mewn amrywiaeth o wahanol ffyrdd: mwy o hyder, hunan-barch, cymhwysedd a gwell ymdeimlad o gyfrifoldeb.  Rydym yn sicrhau fod disgyblion Ysgol Gymraeg Aberdâr yn defnyddio eu lleisiau drwy gyd-gynllunio gwaith thematig, gwrando ar ddysgwyr a rhoi'r cyfle i ddisgyblion fod ar cynghorau'r ysgol - Y Cyngor Ysgol, Y Cyngor Eco a'r Criw Cymraeg.

Pupil Voice gives us at Ysgol Gymraeg Aberdâr the opportunity to use a pupil centred approach so our learners can express their opinions, wishes and feelings when planning our Curriculum.  Pupil Voice encourages our pupils to be contributors in a democratic society. Pupil voice contributes to achievement and attainment - pupils benefit with improved confidence, self-esteem, competence and feelings of responsibility.  We ensure that the pupils at Ysgol Gymraeg Aberdâr use their voice by co-planning thematic work, we listen to our learners and give them the opportunity to be on various school committees - The School Council, Eco Council and the Welsh 'Crew'.
