/ Welcome to our Governors' section

As your Governing Body, our purpose is deeply aligned with Wales's national mission for education: to ensure every pupil is supported to become an ambitious, capable learner within a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative school community. We believe that such a culture is not built by staff and governors alone but is a shared endeavour that relies on every one of us.

By working in genuine partnership, we can foster the conditions for our children to thrive. This means encouraging a positive attitude towards learning, ensuring children arrive ready and eager to engage each day, and supporting the wellbeing of everyone in our school family.

As a school, we are guided by a powerful model from Public Health Wales that shows a child's success in school is influenced by so much more than just what happens in the classroom. Their wellbeing, their home life, and their community all play a vital role.

This means that you, as parents and caregivers, are our most essential partners. The stability, love, and support you provide at home is the absolute foundation for your child's learning. When you read with them, ensure they get enough sleep, or talk through their worries, you are actively building their readiness to learn.

We want to work with you to support your whole child. If things are tough at home, we understand that can affect school. Let's talk about it. Together, we can help navigate the challenges and ensure your child feels safe, supported, and ready to thrive.

Gyda'n gilydd, byddwn yn llwyddo” – “together, we will succeed!”
